That suggests you were using it sitting flat. Use the 'leg' stands supplied. They should be used upright to allow good air circulation. Sky replace faulty routers free of charge.

We didnt get any leg stands with our router... :s

So if i plug my old sky router in, we wont have to install it again? just plug it in and no hassle and it should go fine?

If it was new Sky router then you definitely would have got a stand that goes with it, check the box that it came in.

You don't need to do any install, in fact you didn't need to do one when you first used it, just plug it in and let it connect.

Well.. my mum doesnt want to go back to the netgear router. Any other suggestions?

+ my mum thinks that we have too much stuff on the internet at once, thats why its cutting off, is it true?

If all our stuff is on the internet at the same time, we have: 2 Xbox 360's, a PS3, a PC, laptop, and an ipod touch.

It doesn't matter how many things connect, it should not cause the router to disconnect, it will only slow things down when they are trying to access it at the same time.

I think you will have to wait until you get your own place or get you mum on here so we can tell her what to do
