      Surprise, activation on time!

Due for activation today I had my reservations from reading other users experiences.

I migrated from a 2mb IPStream, initially there was a problem with an invalid MAC code (aint a clue why), my order was re-submitted and I thought I was in for a rough ride.

Surprise, my internet went off at approx 5:00pm, I thought to myself mmm somethings wrong here and rebooted my existing router. It went dead for a while so went away to have my dinner.

I came back at 5:30pm and refreshed the router setup page and low and behold the download and upload speeds gave it away... I was now live!

The sky router was plugged in a bit rapid and it was'nt long before I grabbed these stats :

      Code:

      ADSL Link	Downstream	Upstream
Connection Speed	15323 kbps	764 kbps
Line Attenuation	23.5 db	14.0 db
Noise Margin	13.2 db	13.0 db
      Not bad heh?

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      Hell,

Those look like impressive connection stats.
How far are you from your exchange? My mate is about 1km from his exchange, and he connects at approx 12000.

Is your line capped, or do speed test/downloads actually show 15000kps?
