      help please! slow speeds

      hi guys, i have been a long time reader but this is my first post on the site!

      i am on the sky unlimited package and over the last few days my download speeds have dropped from 180kbps to around 80kbps. iv not phoned sky yet as i am a relatively high downloader (80gb or so this months!) so didnt want to be told my line was being throttled!

      my router stats are as follows

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 768 kbps 400 kbps
      Line Attenuation 67.0 db 44.0 db
      Noise Margin 8.8 db 12.0 db

      i would be delighted if someone could have a look at these results and give me their expert opinion on them so as i know whether to call sky or not!

      your not being throttled - but you one hell of a long line so you're lucky to have BB full stop!!!

      look like you're on adsl2+ as well, which is not helping matters...

      well thats good news in a way! i can phone sky tomorrow to see if they can help any!

      thank you for your help, didnt realise i was that far away from the exchange right enough! once again thanks for your help!
