      Max Package : 1 Meg ?

      Just gone live here are my stats

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 1180 kbps 764 kbps
      Line Attenuation 52.0 db 29.0 db
      Noise Margin 10.3 db 10.5 db


      Is this normal ? I am only getting 1 meg download !! WHAT?!

      Hi Stephen

      Do you know where your master socket is for the telephone?

      If it is the new type, unscrew the 2 screws on the bottom half of it, the faceplate will then pull away.

      Once the faceplate is away from the socket on the right hand side, you will see a normal BT type connector. Plug your router into that and try the stats thing again, then post them in here and we will help :-)

      it now shows:

      DownStream Connection Speed 4525 kbps
      UpStream Connection Speed 764 kbps
      VPI 0
      VCI 38


      How do i get it to stay like this !?
