    This is a discussion on Internet speed dropped by 1mb within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; just rang sky,and they have now sorted issue out, quick and painless,now receiving just over 3mbps...

      just rang sky,and they have now sorted issue out, quick and painless,now receiving just over 3mbps

      You'd be best starting a new thread, mate. With those stats, it would denote you're getting some noise on the line for your attenuation. Can you confirm you have simply a filter (change over for a new one also if you haven't done so) into the test socket with the sky supplied light grey ADSL cable into the filter? Start a new thread with the stats and the above info and we'll help.

      Not alot of difference there, you are getting about the fastest speed your line can handle, because of the noise.
