      Can I improve my connection

      Hi Ive recently installed an NTE5 mater socket inplace of my old style master socket. I've run an extension using cat5e cable and a filtered faceplate which my routers connected to.
      Ive got the sagem router and connected via wireless. I am also runninng a programs callled Vista lag

      These are my router stats and a couple of speed tests

      You may get another .5 - 1mb or so if yout lucky but you seem to have done just about everything you can from your end.

      What are your router stats plugged into the NTE5 test socket?

      He's using a filtered faceplate so it won't get much better than that and he is already syncing at around the maximum for that attenuation even on a good line.

      I cant plug the router into the test socket at the moment as my lines currently been tested according to the 'mysky' page. I've still got a couple of days left so will post the stats asap.

      @smithy99 im connected through one of these on an cat5e extension

      As long as it's a filtered faceplate, it doesn't matter what type it is.

      I think what he's saying is the faceplate is on the extension, not the master.
