Have you rebooted your router? If not try it, you may sync a bit higher. If it doesn't, get back on to them and tell them that you want your upload speed increased as it is only 412, don't say anything about DLM it will just confuse the issue.

In my experience if you want to get through to someone that actually knows what they are doing ring them after 10:30pm as narl said, I've found them to be very helpful, they will increase your upstream as you talk.

      I've rebooted it:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 17848 kbps 412 kbps
Line Attenuation 18.0 db 7.8 db
Noise Margin 7.2 db 28.5 db

edit: I did it at about 10 past 10, I'll try 10:30 tonight though.

      Re: Extremely high ping

You need to contact them to increase your upload. You are at the top end possible for your download connection and booting when the line is a bit noisy will reduce your sync speed. It is the best thing to do, as your connection will then be more stable and is unlikely to drop out just when you need it.
