Finding what ISP you are on?

Stupid question I know, but my brother has moved from SKY connect to a BT package....I phoned them up a while ago for him becaase the activation date for his new service had past by 4 days, I explained that the sky router was still in use and assumed it had not yet been taken over. The BT operator categorically told me that BT had taken over the service on the planned date and that the broadband service was with them. So I then plugged in all the BT router and stuff and it worked with that aswell. I have no idea how the broadband from BT was working on a Sky router so my suspicions were raised. To cut to the short of it my brother has just recieved a monthly statement from sky for the broadband and also a monthly statement from BT from his broadband!! how can he have 2 active broadband services? Basically I want to find out right at this moment what ISP he is with, I remmeber a while ago going to a website that told you your IP address and also who your provider is, I want to know who he is with at the moment.

      Any ideas guys? thanks.

Running a speedtest on our site will also do the same.

Click the Who is your ISP in the link below.

No matter who you are moving to or from, you should always advise your old ISP that you are leaving by giving notice and cancelling. Getting the MAC is not notification of leaving and unless the new ISP advises your previous one, you will still be charged. This does not just apply to Sky.
