I also had a dead connect service last night. Strange thing was after all my speed problems, http://http://www.skyuser.co.uk/foru...-customer.html just before it went dead, my speed was about 5Meg and stayed at that speed when it came back on.
Returned to the usual s**t speed again today though.

uhh???? only connect users?? are you sure?

i'm on mid and i couldnt get online yesterday evening. I got some weird SKY maintenance page that said internet wasnt accessible or something.

There was also a message on their customer service phone number saying they were aware of the problem and were looking into it

Prior to this it was very slow and i couldnt sign on to the PSN.

Now i can connect to internet but signing into PSN is still very slow.

I shouldnt be on connect because remember my previous threads where i mentioned they had me on connect for nearly 2 years when they should have moved me across. I had to threaten to leave for them to actually move me across.... :/

Hrmm i'll have to give them a phone but i will be flabbergasted if they tell me i am STILL on Connect.... if i am still on connect...this will be the 2nd outright lie they have told me. (the first being that the PSN issue where eveyone on connect not being able to sign in was nothing to do with them)

      brb lol

Yes, it's ALL of the connect (offnet) network that is experiencing problems. Around 8th August, I believe it was only a few area codes and now it's been up and down today. Some people are experiencing intermittent/no sync/slow speeds.

In saying that, there are quite a few outtages for onnet customers today also. If you think you're affected, ring sky.

Just have a look at your stats, if your upload speed is shown as 448kbps, you are on Connect. If you are not sure post them and we will tell you.
