      With those stats I would say it is almost certainly a wireless problem. What happens when she connects by wire?

      Download and install Inssider from the link below. This will show what channels are being used in your neighbourhood. Change the channel in the router to one as far from those in use as possible. See if that helps.

      we can both play wow no problem, and i can surf the web no problem while we are both on wow, but when my gf tries to surf the web while logged into wow no web page will load up.

      Can you confirm she is using a wired connection?

      On a different note, I think if a game was so boring I wanted to surf while playing it, I would find another game.

      currently she is using the wireless connection from the sky broadband router i got when i signed up with sky

      ah ok thnx mate, well i have used that scanning thing you mentioned and put my channel as far away from others as i could, but will look at wiring her in and get back to you guys.
