It's crap and especially for gamers, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR IT!!!!

It would require Sky to speak to BT on your behalf and can sometimes be done within a few days but:- Sky Connect is crap and especially for gamers, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR IT!!!!

he didn't say he'd get connect - he just said he's currently NOT on LLU - doesn't mean he won't be...

as to answering his questions - Sky use interleve only on LLU, although IF you went on Connect (don't if you're a gamer) fastpath can be turned on...

on LLU getting settings changed is a matter of calling tech and getting to CST (Customer Solutions Team). they can do it there and then with you...

you can use you own router, but doing so is in breech of T&Cs of contract and although no one has been done yet it's not to say it won't happen...

Ah sorry but I bet you got the hint!!!

Support is as you say Hit and Miss.

& no, you cannot officially use your own router unless you piggy back it to the Sky one which works fine.
