      On the phone to Opal now. Their offer was just too tempting.
      So it's goodbye Sky ... soon.

      If anyone's interested I'll come back and post my stats once it's up and running. (only if they're better though)

      Are they offering up to 20/24Mb. I did not think TalkTalk did that yet, but maybe they have started.

      Up to 24Mb. Don't suppose I'll get any faster than I am now, but I get a fixed IP for nowt and the price is pretty good with the introductory offer.
      They also claim speeds won't drop at peak times due to prioritisation. We'll see.

      Very few LLU providers need to throttle, this is usually only experienced on BT services and Virgin of course.

      Hope you read the small print with Opal. It's a 24mth contract and and you revert back to the full price after 12 months.

      Also something to bear in mind, as it's a business package I would doubt normal consumer rights would apply should something go wrong during the contract period.

      I know, but that still works out at 7.50/month compared to the 10/month I currently pay.
