      Another slow broadband connect customer

      Hi all
      Have been with sky for about a month now and am now at the end of the complaint line I think. Just thought I'd post my info here for other users to see.
      I have had very slow speeds from the start, getting worse at night but never at an accceptable level for long. Customer support/tech help were very good, although it's taken nearly a month to get to where I am now, but in the end I was told that my slow speeds were down to congestion. Nothing they could do. I was given an address for the customer care dept and told to write to them. I have recently written to them hoping to have a solution of some kind. Will post back the results of that letter.

      You only solution is to find another ISP. It is very very unlikely that Sky will do anything to improve the situation. If you read the various 'Connect' threads in the forum you will see that many are suffering from their throttling policy.

      Yeah, thanks, I know it's unlikely they will do much. Just thought I'd post my situation to add to al the other connect users problems. By the way are you the isitme who used to post on pcanswers?

      Had a call from sky tonight......
      They were selling an extended warranty on the sky+ plus box etc. His first question was "are you happy with your sky services".
      Bet he wished he'd never asked.

      Are you sure you were talking to Sky
      Yep the fella told me he was from sky.
      I do have talk talk LLU only. Can I get broadband from them without the phonecalls.

      You could click on the link to the Talk Talk home page and have a look and if you want you could click on the details But it has to be LLU have heard no complaints about Talk Talk LLU
