      Slow download speed

Well, DLM has finished and it's worse than before. Upload is about 10kb better, but download (although the sync speed is 1mbit higher) maxes out at 1MB/s (used to be 1.4/1.5)

Post spilt off to hopefully get more replies.

Post your stats, you may need a manual configuration.

Looking at your noise margins, which are just about default, that is about all you will get. Any more and your line would be unstable. There is nothing to be gained from manual configuration.

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

I don't see why my download speeds are slower than before though. In the few days DLM has been running my line has become so unstable the download speed has dropped by 400kB/s? It was already capped at 14mbps when my line originally had an uncapped downstream @ 16mbps and was running as stable as ever.

If your actual download is slower you should look for some other cause. With you sync speed you should be getting 1.5-1.6mb.

If you are running XP do the Tweaktest from the DrTCP link below. If it makes recommendations, download and run the application. There is also advice for Vista users on the site, but Vista is usually pretty good out of the box.

You might also want to check for malware by running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com.

Are you using any of the iPlayers?

Re: Sky Broadband Changes - 22nd June

I'm not sure. I've tried Speedtest, HTTP/FTP (UK, France, Holland, etc..) and they all seem to max out at about 1MB/s

      I'll try DrTCP
