      SKY Unlimited - Am i Being Throttled ?

      Hi

      I am a sky unlimited customer, last night around 10.50pm my internet went off, when it came back it synced at the normal speed of 12mbit but my speed is really slow, using speedtest its only 2mb

      my line attenuation and snr are great so no problems there.

      do you think i am being throttled ??

      Need to post your stats to be honest. Doubt if it's throttling though.

      Attenuation - 20db
      Noise margin 3db

      any thoughts ?

      Post the full stats please. Noise margin is low though.

      If you are you are the only one on LLU that is.

      Your SNR is low so I would suspect all the errors on your line are causing this.

      Post your stats again (copy/paste this time), from the current location and also the test socket.

      Low noise margin = errors on the line.
      Errors on the line = CRC errors
      CRC errors............= Data has to be resent
      Data being resent =Slow connection.

      I know as my niose margin has dropped to 4, the lowest I have ever seen it, my connection is crawling, just about to reboot router.

      Noise Margin 4.9 db 11.5 db

      Through put is always rock steady at
      01 August, 2009 16:01:40 11216 Kbps 631 Kbps

      No Problems with browsing or gaming what so ever. Note router up time 869 hours
