      that's just great, so regardless of what ISP I choose when I do with adsl broadband, I'm still going to have that outcome?

      look's like its back to cable, it seems regardless of the price, the best option for me.

      I have had worst problems with sky broadband , several calls to them , router being replace twice , speeds that make dial up look good , ended up being a fault on my line , sky sent out a bt engineer which fixed the problem and now I easily make my 2mb base speed while being quite far from the exchange

      how did you/they find out that the fault was on your line and the problem did not lie elsewhere?

      well I did all the usual test they ask over the phone , cables plugged in right , microfilter plugged in first , plug it in test socket etc etc , they did line test to see if there was a fault but that came back all clear , so they couldnt understand why my broadband wasn't syncing (flashing amber light)/super slow when it did connect , I think they got fed up of me ringing up and offered to send out a bt engineer for no charge at all , so if I was you just ask if they can send a sky broadband or bt engineer round as your not happy with the service your getting
