      Question internet keeps hanging and disconnecting

      Hi

      I am new here can someone please give me some advice on what to do, we are at a loss atm, on braodband max at 3mb, everyday at the same time it hangs and then disconnects you and you cannot get back online for another hour it then returns back to normal till the next day at the same time again have to continually reboot the router this has been happening for over a month now.

      Also does this when my partner is playing online games at around the same time aswell and completely disconnects him from the server

      Have spoken to sky and am awaiting escalations team to access whether they want to send an easynet engineer, have changed to a new sky router and cables am in the master socket, was very stable until 4 weeks ago, tbh i am so sick of there excuses now i don't know what to do the packet loss we experience is over 40%, any suggestions on what could be causing this would be appreciated.

      Can you post your current router stats?

      1. Log into the web admin http://192.168.0.1
      2. Enter the user name and password, Username: admin Password: sky
      3. Click on the "Show Statistics" button
      4. Copy and paste details from popup window in here


      Also when you lose connection does re-starting the router fix the issue? or do you have to wait?

      Hi

      When connection is lost up to 1 hour and sometimes till morning restarting sometimes helps but very slow on loading pages and speed drops to as low as 1mb sometimes and wont go up till you reboot in the morning.

      here are the current stats

      If you have one, try the test socket see link below for details and post stats from there.

      Try another filter could be a faulty one you are using.

      have tried several, also have the flace plate filter built in have no idea whats going on
