      losing connection

Hi all, sorry if there is a post for this already but couldnt find it.
For some reason I keep losing my internet connection, and end up with local only.
It takes a few goes before I get it back after having rebooted router, restarting computer trying to get windows to fix problem, which it never does!
has anyone got any ideas please?

As always, post your stats from your normal position and from the Tests socket, link below. This will enable internal problems to be ruled out.

      Re: losing connection

There is a slight improvement in the Test socket, but not enough to worry about, they look pretty good.

      Are you connecting by wireless?

      Re: losing connection

If this is happening with ethernet one of the usual culprits is drivers. Get the latest drivers from the network card's manufacturer's web site, then uninstall your existing drivers and install the new ones. Remove the old drivers from the Add/Remove or Program and features list and uninstall the card from the Device Manager to be sure you are getting a clean install.
