I need some help with my brother's router stats...

Hi everybody, my brother has set up the microfilter incorrectly, and the problem is, he's not sure which Sky Broadband package that he is on at the moment! I need your help, please.

I think, he is on Sky Broadband Max / Unlimited package also I think Sky has capped him because he has so much errors (noise) on his line, due to incorrect interior wiring / incorrect microfiler set up. So I recorded his detailed stats as follows - always using wireless connection:

Re: I need some help with my brother's router stats...

There seems to be little difference between the stats so I don't think DLM or Sky have capped him for a noisey line.

It looks like he is capped at 2mb, this may be because he is on Sky Base and that is the max speed on that package.

You need to find out what package he is on, if it is Mid or Max (everyday or Unlimited) then you should ring up and get the cap removed, if he is on base you could just upgrade.

Re: I need some help with my brother's router stats...

I agree with Smithy, it looks like he is on Base and capped at 2048kbps. There are no errors in either set of stats and the Max rate shown is the maximum for G.DMT. He would get 12-14 Mb on ADSL2+.
