Leave, go get out as quickly as you can.
if you want to download anything, game, view youtube, or indeed anything "normal" with the internet, other than browsing, you are as said above screwed.

This is THE worst BB package around. See my post below about the new dirty trick when you leave. Also check any mac code, as they also issued me with a false one.

terrible package, stone age broadband. look to IDnet ADSl24 etc,

Are you sure it's not the other way around and some are not having problems

I personally don't think it is worth the risk that you will be one of the lucky people that don't have issues and I would never suggest that anyone signs up to this package.

The Connect package is a poor show for Sky broadband considering their LLU packages are very good on the whole. It seems that Sky are unable to get the traffic management right which is strange because lot's of smaller companies seem to manage this without too much difficulty.

Sky seem happy to keep adding more and more customers to it without doing anything about the issues and problems that this causes.

Even you would have to agree that there are much better companies to deal with on the BT rebadged product.

      Steve, I was talking about

the Connect product is changing this month from using BT Centrals to IP Stream Connect.
I am so annoyed by this now. Sky broadband has won so many f*ckin awards and yet they do this!!

Smithy, Coreserves - Which company offers a 40GB cap for 10. Its a great price and at the mean time, it looks like it can't be beaten...

But I the same time, I won't be able to use it cos the speeds are unbearably slow. This sucks!

What are your router stats like, please post them.

Was the speedtest in your sig done with Sky? If so it's a bit strange you are still showing BT as your ISP, normally this would be Easynet, or Sky.com.

None that are worth going to, you will just end up in the same position a product that you cannot use for gaming etc.

A couple to look at are:- Plusnet, Zen, IdNet and ADSL24, all will do low usage packages and you may find that some have no off peak usage allowance so if you could set your download off iovernight this won't affect your daily allowance.

As you say, 10 is a good price, but not if you cannot use it Then it is just a waste of 10.

I'm still on BT now. Sky BB should be activated in the next few days. But I feel I should be getting the same speed anyway...

They will not offer LLU, but all will offer the same rebadged BT ADSLMax as Sky Connect.

How about your stats, from your normal position and from the Test socket if you have one.

Which info would you like? Speeds never differ if from test socket or normal faceplate...
