    unstable line for the past month

      unstable line for the past month

      for the past month, my sky broadband line has been unstable. at least 3 times a day it disconnects and reconnects and each time the speed varies

      everything has been fine before for well, since I joined the past 2 years now....

      nothing has changed in terms of wiring configuration.
      Always connected the ADSL filter to the master socket.
      No extensions.
      I have even just changed the ADSL filter.... but still no go.

      any ideas what may cause the line to disconnect and reconnect?

      You dont live in Preston by any chance ?

      Just wondered coz I'm having a similar experience after 3 years without a disconnection that wasnt caused by me.
      Whats your mysky say regarding line testing ?
