      You are getting the most from your line now so I doubt speed would increase, it may actually drop a little.

      With regard to your speedtest, are you using wireless if so try a wire, chances are it's the wireless that's the problem.

      hey guys.

      all is good, wonderful and fast again now! seems even though they cut me off mid phone call (!!!!!) they were still on the case to sorting the problem

      so, here's my stats now, and my gratitude to those on the other end of the line, and yourselves for helping me sort it out

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 16380 kbps 1015 kbps
      Line Attenuation 26 db 13 db
      Noise Margin 10 db 8 db

      all is good, wonderful and fast again now!
      I begin to wonder if DLM ever leaves a line with its best performance. I think Sky may have spent a fortune on a system that is seriously flawed.

      it leaves it with the most STABLE connection, which is the whole point od DLM...
      ..and there's me thought it was supposed to leave it with the fastest possible stable connection. The most stable connection is meaningless.
