Speedtests mean nothing without router stats

ask to be put through to cancellations, explain your situation and they'll put you through straight away.just say your feeling like cancelling cos of the lack of support..
i know this is a bit drastic but it works
alternatively, keep trying and hope you get through to someone who isnt just reading off a screen like a robot

andykate, tried your trick, they just said the cancellations department is shut and call back between 8 and 11. They said they cant escalate to tier 2 because there isnt a fault with the BB. Getting pretty fed up now only thing stopping me going elsewhere is because of the excellent price.

Ring again and complain of the slow speeds and keep ringing until they give you a tier 2 reference number.

If you ever need to re-ring the tier 2 tech guys, simply call tier 1 and ask to be put through to tier 2 immediately. They should comply

There is no tier 2 not for nearly 2 years, you need to ask for CST, even then, you will need a reference number or go through the tests with 1st line support first.

doesn't work that way - if there's no open ticket you have to go through T1 TS...

Yes i was just saying if he needed to ring them again, he could quote the reference number (if he already has one) and be passed through immediately.

Phone up after 10.30 pm, don't say anything about having called before, tell them you have improved your wiring and believe your can get a better speed than when your line was first tested. Ask politely to be put through to CST who should be able to squeeze another 1 or 2 Mb out of your line. If that does not work, you may just have to wait till DLM is put on your line, which should sort it out.
