Re: I think my Sky Broadband unlimited is capped at 4 Meg.

Hello

Broadband service FINALLY went live this morning. Like the others here, I'm anchored on 4Mb down, 0.5Mb up. Appreciate that DLM hasn't even started running on my connection yet (probably), but would appreciate it if someone could have a look at my router stats and let me know there is anything I need to worry about in terms of noise margin etc.

Cheers
Chris

Looks fine, just don't turn off the router if you can help it

Re: I think my Sky Broadband unlimited is capped at 4 Meg.

A quick question, how come some peoples upstream SNR is higher than others, even when they have a lower attenuation there upstream SNR is lower, shouldn't it be people with low upstream attenuations get a higher SNR than those with higher ones.

I'm confused.

Yep - no reason to turn the router off any time soon.

Looks like DLM has started (though the Sky web site is still saying that line testing is not in progress). Got up this mornign to find that the downstream has jumped up to 12Mb and upstream has increased to 0.6Mb.

I'm hoping I'll see a further jump in both as the line really should be good for at least 16Mb based on what neighbours are getting from Sky on Unlimited.

Re: I think my Sky Broadband unlimited is capped at 4 Meg.

Sky's site is now reporting that DLM is in operation on my line, having commenced yesterday.
