      Have I been capped??????

      Hi guys,
      Been using sky bb for just over a year and never really had any issues......Until now!!!!

      about 4 weeks ago i was trying to watch bbc iplayer and it would just not stream at all. After checking this forum I found that I could check the router status to see my line speed and was dismayed to find that it was showing 570kbs (I'm on the 8meg package). Since then I have tried all the suggestions I could find on here, trying the master socket, changing the faceplate for the adslnation one, disconnnecting the ring wire etc, etc. None of this made any difference at all and I had pretty much given up hope. About 3 days ago the speed suddenly jumped to 1536kbps for no apparent reason, but this is according to speedtest.net still slower than I used to get.


      I'm using the sagem router, but cant seem to post any stats on here doh!!

      Whats stopping you posting your stats here ?

      If you can try to post here your Line Attenuation and SNR. (Along with your Current Download & Upload Sync Speeds)

      You wont be able to post detailed router stats from the sagem, but as Instinct says you should be able to get the basic stats. Login to the router 192.168.0.1, username = admin, password = sky then click on show statistics.
      Copy and paste into a reply here.

      Are you able to take another set of stats from the test socket ?
