      Just to cover yourself you do really need a serviceable Sky router, if only to hook it up if you ever need to contact them again, and also we dont really know how DLM will react to a non-Sky router thro I would be supprised if it made any differance.

      Just like to chip in here and say that I'd a similar problem with the Sagem router, i.e. red lights (as well as sometimes orange lights on the network ports) and the router just being generally dead.

      Tried the router with a power adapter from a working Sagem router and it worked.

      So maybe there's a batch of faulty power adapters with these routers? Definitely worth trying if anyone else comes across the same issue and has access to another router...

      I agree, once you get a router all set up as you want it, provided they dont get zapped by storms or anything, they tend to work for ages, so the power adappter may be the problem.
