      Steve how do I check this - ping an IP? I have no idea on what it 'was' though.

      Just to confirm with the results, my line is only capable of 2meg?

      It looks like you profile is set to 2mb, you need to ring Sky and get them to get BT to change it.

      Hi with 56db on a good line your connection speed should be about 4250kbps

      Netgear V1 DG834GT did you see this when logged in to your router if so have a look at the link Hi Smithy99 I was wandering if the profile change was due to the Line Attenuation going up it`s not for RST If Sky are putting the Line Attenuation up for connect Customers to try and compensate and help the traffic shaping it only needs to go up by 1db and your profile will go down 500kpbs

      His profile speed is too low for his sync and that's what's holding him back. It's almost like he is on a 2mb fixed line package. I wonder if BT has put him on the wrong one.

      Hi Smithy99 I wonder how much control Sky have now with the IP Stream Connect. Could it be down to Sky
      the Connect product is changing this month from using BT Centrals to IP Stream Connect.

      we still have no control over IP profiles...purely how traffic is prioritised...

      it changes itself assuming it has the same sync speed for 72hrs...
