Simple answer is YES

Soloution is to move ISP's, check if you can get Be or O2 LLU in your exchange.

Just a footnote. I understand that Auntie Beeb is far from happy that its I Player is suffering from traffic shaping from ISP providers

Yes, see my post No.3, you need to move ISP's.

As for the BBC being upset they should maybe consider the amount of bandwidth that their player uses, I'm not so sure that ISP's should be expected to subsidise their platform. Maybe they will start their own ISP.

changing ISPs isnt as easy as it sounds, id rather this problem was fixed, and BBC have certain level of video quality for different bandwidths so something should play at least instead of buffereing all the itme

gamez4life
Hi the problem is Sky connect package is no good for online gaming so if you do a lot of online you could find out that Sky might have slowed you down so bbc iplayer videos could be a thing of the past until Sky start to LLU more exchanges. So sorry if the answer is not what you are looking for but as Smithy99 say`s at the moment that is the only solution.

Re: Why doesnt Sky Connect, work with BBC Iplayer well!! Always Buffering!!

look at hte speed in my speed test, will answer your question. go to IDnet.anywhere just leave connect alone no ridiculous shaping, because sky are trying to rip you off. Cause they tried to get away with little bandwidth.

I get 4.5mb at 3.45 and the below at 4.05.

This is the 21st century sky, not the dark ages.
