Yeah its really easy, phone sky ask for a MAC, and give it to someone better eg: ADSL24, IDNet, Newnet etc...

why should they? the iplayer was designed to run across high bandwith broadband, thats its purpose. why should the bbc provide a low rate service for ISPs who cant manage their service right? plus there is the financial cost also!

Well wearing the other shoe, why should ISP's supply extra bandwidth for the BBC's service, maybe they should consider paying towards the cost.

Re: Why doesnt Sky Connect, work with BBC Iplayer well!! Always Buffering!!

Depends on what you use it for really, I bet there are 1000's of Connect customers who have no issues with the service because they don't game or do heavy downloading.

For gamers and people who need a better managed network I would suggest:-

Plusnet, Zen, IdNet or ADSL24.

Depending on the download amount you can get these for around the £20+

You cannot get both, ISP's have to buy their capacity from BT so they have a cost to supply, some ISP's who have large limits do this by just letting you fidht over it (like Sky Connect) this then causes the issues you see.

By managing the network properly at a realistic price, these problems can be reduced dramatically.
