Question Slow connection speed - please help!

Hi everyone!

My mother has had Sky Broadband Mid for about a year now. The last time I looked she was getting ~3.5mb connection speed but recently this has dropped to about 1mb.

From memory, the line stats seem to be about the same as they were:

I can't hear any noise on the line and nothing has changed regarding wiring etc. The router seems to hang on to the connection very well, no random disconnects just slow speed. Could this be something stuck or wrongly set at the exchange?

If I need to talk to Sky could you please provide tips on how to best get through to someone who knows what they're talking about?

Thanks in advance for any help.

MM

Edit: I forgot to check what router she has, sorry.

Re: Slow connection speed - please help!

Phone Sky, after 10.30 pm is best and get them to trouble shoot for speed. The line is heavily capped and should give between 6-8 Mb. If possible be plugged into the Test socket and change the filter. This may save some tome on the call.
