      Downloads; what counts?

I'm not very knowledgeable on this but was under the assumption that when ever you're doing something on line, reading emails, watching trailers, online gaming via PS3 or any streaming type application would involve data coming down the line to my computer & then that would be "downloads" as well.

However I was talking to a Sky CS today & he said physical downloads only count, mp3, etc, not internet traffic as such. Is that right? Or is everything as I assumed? Or somewhere in between.

He was on the mid package himself & was shocked when I told him about the new download limit !

      Re: Downloads; what counts?

Anything you download be it as a file or webpage counts towards your limit.

To be honest, reading web pages everyday even a lot of them will not be much in terms of capacity but streaming films or TV could be.

If he was in broadband support he badly needs a refresher course. Everything that passes up and down your line counts as bandwidth. Uploads as well as downloads, surfing, VoiP, gaming, streaming Youtube etc, count at all times.
