      Keep getting disconnected

I joined Sky yesterday, it hasn't been activated yet so I am still on BT, but I keep getting disconnected from the internet and I have to keep restarting the router to try and get it back.

Is this just a coincidence or are BT messing with my line?

      Thanks

They may be doing a lift and shift at the moment so wait until it is finished.

Next time it goes down, plug in the Sky Router, see if it syncs.

      Re: Keep getting disconnected

Yeah I'm getting Unlimited, the page said I can get 10-20 mbps, and my down attenuation is only 14.

The connection seems to be fixed now, it was just yesterday and within half an hour of ordering Sky.

Also, have the terms changed about using the sky router? The person on the phone said you can use your own.

      Thanks

      Re: Keep getting disconnected

The person on the phone said you can use your own.
That would be a salesperson, they will tell you anything. This is still in the T & Cs -

(d)Sky Broadband must only be accessed via your Wireless Router. Your Wireless Router is not supplied as being capable of being used to access any other Internet service.
The Wireless Router refers to the one supplied by Sky not any wireless router.

The connection seems to be fixed now, it was just yesterday and within half an hour of ordering Sky.
So you do not have an activation date yet? If so I think it would be coincidence.

      Re: Keep getting disconnected

You need to leave the router turned on for the 10 day training period, you should see 16+mb when it is finished.
