Just wondered what sky are meaning by this? (taken from below)

"If you’re a new customer joining Sky, the new packages take effect from 22nd June 2009. This will also be the first date that the initial group of existing customers will have their lines stabilised.
for the rest of our on-net customers, you can expect to go through this process between June and September."

It means you are on Skys network for your calls and BB, ie you have Sky talk and BB and possibly Line Rental too.

It's so that they can give you the £5 per month discount on your BB, as Sky talk/Line rental customers get a discount.

      Greetings,

" Onnet " means you connect via sky`s own network,
" Offnet " means you connect to sky via BT.

Onnet is LLU Local Loop Unbundling,
      LLU Factsheet

      Re: 'on-net customer' ?

      hi

I am on the MAX package, which i've always assumed was LLU, but our line rental is with Bt. So does that make me an 'on-net customer?

On a side not (and to save starting another thread), ive noticed that from the 22nd, the service details (on 'mysky') say.....

      Service unavailable
      Service unavailable

Sorry, this service is currently unavailable. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

The above is where it previously quoted the figure that was expected for the line (which was way off anyway).

whats your stats, if you've got anything other than a 448 upstream you're on LLU...and the new speeds will be applied in the next few months...
