      Connecting to Sky broadband query

I am currently using prodigy as my ADSL ISP and have a Draytek ADSL Router as my dad requires a secure VPN connection.

Sky provide a "Broadband box" which is rumoured to be a custom netgear wireless router. Will we be able to connect the sky box and our old draytek router together so he can use his VPN connection?

      thanks

i have the same router (all beit not SKY branded) and it works fine with VPN, you can always just add a rule for the protocols anyway - dead easy

Yes SKY are giving their customers this router

For security reasons the IT department has advised us to continue to use the Draytek if possible.

Has it been confirmed whether users must use the Sky provided box?
