      Switch on tomorrow!

I'm switching from BT to Sky midi, and have received confirmation that this is due to happen tomorrow. As I'm heavily reliant on my internet connection for work, I'm just wondering how this is going to work in practice? Will my BT connection cease to work after midnight, or will it happen suddenly at some point during the day? When it does happen, will I have to install the sky router or will I simply start receiving the new service automatically through my existing BT router?

      Cheers,
      Barry.

When it happens you will lose your net access and you will need to plug in your Sky router to get your internet access back again. It could happen at anytime day or night. I moved from BT to Sky and it was done at 4.17 in the morning and as I couldn't connect the next day it was obvious it had been switched.

Were you informed of the new 10Gb limit when you signed up? As already mentioned Sky BB is for domestic use, you would have been better going to a business provider if you rely on your connection for work.
