Your line has been heavily capped

This is not a good thing, even though your NM has gone up it doesn't fix the problem. You need to get top the bottom of the interference, your test socket stats had a sync of over 7mb you are now stuck at 4mb.

Yes, all Sky have done is capped your speed, which is their favourite response when a line is loosing sync. Give it a couple of days and if your connection stays up, phone them and ask them to lift the cap a bit. If your connection continues to drop it is probably a faulty router. I still do not understand how it can disconnect, yet your internet light stays green. If you are loosing connection it should blink, go out, turn amber for a short while, then go green when it reconnects.

      Re: Strange Disconnects

When I checked it in the morning (9am), the WAN uptime said that it had been up for 2 minutes. Also when I got home, the WAN uptime said it had disconnected at around 1 o'clock.

Though I haven't seen it disconnect first hand, the moment I do I'll be back in contact with sky. I'm certain that it is the router, it even loads the router config pages slow. But if it doesnt disconnect on me, I'll get them to lift the cap abit ^^

      Thanks for the advice, Stew.
