Guys, can we keep things civil.

In my own opinion, this sounds similar to a problem that existed when sky first started as Sky use an IP address that was previously reserved and not for normal ISP usage. This meant that a lot of website wouldn't work when being access from a sky IP address.

The problem is with the site in question and not Sky. Yes I agree it would be nice if sky took the batton and contacted the site(s) in question, but this is way above the remit of the service that you pay for. As an analagy, you buy a a big people carrier car but find that you can't park in your local car park as the spaces aren't big enough.... would you expect the car manufactuer to contact the car park and let them know that their spaces were no longer big enough for the new car that they have produced????

      FYI
Ive had this website with that host for 4 years and all of a sudden a server is crippling sky ip addresses no other isp is effected but sky that means sky as a very well payed company should make an effort to see if they can contact the isp that owns that router as its not just one website that sky customers will experience problems on its pottentially a huge network of websites.
Sky pay Bt, Bt in turn pay AT&T AT&T pay the server costs for that paticular router which means sky customers are paying for that router to fuction im sure if multiple routers rejected sky connections on AT&T sky would look elsewhere for an isp.
The above has been accepted as true by some sky representatives so how can you argue that?
Sky pay BT for the hire of the floor space in the exchange, SKY has its own data network which is Easynet. Sky dont pay for anything in relation to data traffic.

Sky will not contact the ISP that you are dealing with as it has got nothing to do with Sky..

I've just done a tracert from my home (VM) to the server and the ping time outside the UK are through the roof.

Once SSH has been reparied on my server I will post a tracert and a ping from my server which is on a GB connection.

Nothing at all to do with the SKY connection mate and certainly nothing wrong with my server as most people download over 20Mbit sec of it or more depending on location.

      DncMark...

Calling Sky will get you nowhere...running a server isn't supported and can be seen as breech of T&C's so I'd be quiet to Sky about what you're doing...
