Rang early this morning. Only had to wait 4 minutes to be answered, but then another 4 minutes while customer service (sic) discovered that my router was despatched on Tuesday - but it could take 5 working days to be delivered. I wonder why they couldn't have told me that yesterday?

It's not looking good for tomorrow, but I live in hope

They tell everyone 5 days but most show up in 2 or 3 that is when they do get around to placing the orders so you never know

      Fingers crossed anyway

It's now Monday and still no router, despite BT activating my line last friday.

Latest message from Customer "Services" yesterday is that my Router has not yet been despatched.

Previouses messages have been that I would receive a phone call to tell me when it was being sent out (needless to say that didn't happen) and that my router had been despatched on 29 September (which is patently untrue).

To sum up, I don't believe a word Sky tell me and just have to keep chasing them until I receive my router.

i too am waiting for my router sinc 20th sept, try calling sky on 08705 515515 option 4 and then 1 - and ask to speak to paul bordell (he deals with router in one way or another) the c/s team told me he is going to call me today about the progress of my router but he hasnt yet, so fingers cross he can call and give me an update. but i aint holding my breath..... sky BB cs in my view is just as bad a CPwarehouse BB.... they release something they cant support or cope with the demand.... oh well atleast sky cs hve agreed to refund my call charges

My line was activated last Thursday (28/09). No router as yet.

Customer Service told me today that provisioning say it should arrive sometime before 26/10 due to a backlog of orders !

So that's just about a month without broadband in the worst case

My router arrived at the Parceline depot this morning (dispatched by Sky yesterday).

Parceline have lost the parcel and are looking for it in their depot !

      Sometimes I just despair

Assuming Parceline don't find it, does anyone know how quickly will Sky send a replacement?

      Oh nooooooooo

I don't believe your luck but then I do believe it of Parceline they could loose a tank without any effort

If they don't find it you got no chance of seeing a new one before next week

Well the router arrived today. It looks like it may not have really been lost as the package is marked "non delivery - no time available"

      Syncing at 15323 / 766 kbps

Throughput speed (according to ADSLguide) of 9279 / 641 kbps

Time to test some sites and sort out the email !
