    Usenet d/l speeds dropped drastically

      I've started to have the same issue with Astraweb i would get 1.67meg downloads but now I'm maxing out at 1.15.

      No idea why I've changed nothing at all and I'm on sky max packages been with them for a while now and only within the pass couple of weeks I've been having issues?

      This may just be a taste of things to come. Many have said that with thousands more going on line every day, the network backbone that everyone uses is becoming saturated. Much has been done to increase broadband speeds locally, but not much seems to be done on a global scale to soak up the extra input.

      Thats a fair point to be honest mate. I just hope it sorts it's self out soon.

      I just had a similar problem with NewsDemon and it was actually their problem limiting me but they said they weren't... Then pop money went out my account for the next month and back to full speed :P

      But a new problem I am having now is when I limit my speed to 75% connection using Newsleecher my whole connection lags like mad with insane packet loss and my download not even doing 75% as it it chopping like mad. Not sure if this is a software issue or if its newsdemon again.

      im having the same problem with astraweb at the momnet ! whats going on?

      normally 700 - 800 currently 120 KB/s
