      Painfully Slow! Please HELP!!!

      Can anyone help me, my Boadband has been really slow the last few days, downloading files seems to take longer than usual, any ideas if everything is ok from the stats?

      Modem
      ADSL Firmware Version A2pB023o.d20h
      Modem Status Up
      DownStream Connection Speed 7968
      UpStream Connection Speed 384
      VPI 0
      VCI 38
      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 7968 kbps 384 kbps
      Line Attenuation 41.0 db 24.5 db
      Noise Margin 7.3 db 13.0 db

      I have 3 PC's all connected via wireless and they are all usually fine, just the last few days has been very very slow

      Change your wireless channel, odds are your wireless signal is being impacted by another wireless network nearby.

      Not auto for starters. Try working down from highest to lowest and see if the speed improves.

      Start at 13 and work your way down.

      You should also be aware that wireless is pants for gaming as it adds lag and usually will reduce you connection speed to the router.

      With wireless I am lucky to get 8-10mb even with a good signal, connected via a homeplug I always get 16.6mb.
