I've played it safe and gone back to the latest Sky firmware to avoid any problems in that area!

Just wait a call now but wonder if I'll be waiting forever!?

Don't wait too long on a phone call, I believe tickets die after 3 days whether they are fixed or not. If you don't hear in 48 hours, phone them back.

      Hi,
Your line has been manually profiled, not completed DLM. If you really only upgraded yesterday then your line will still start a DLM cycle at some point in the next few days which means that may not be your final DLM'd speed.

      Leave your router on

......and pray that DLM does not make a complete mess of your connection.

I agree, lets hope they dont start to do DLM on my line as its works fine. Hopefully as I've been connected on "Base" for 2.5 years previously they wont???

If they do, what do I look for, does the G.DMT mode change or something?

Yes, it will change to ADSL2+, which is theoretically faster and may give you another 1 Mb or so, but it may be at the cost of stability.

Well, its doing what everyone said the line would. It's now changed to ADSL2+ and must therefore be "training". Currently OK, hope if stays that way!
