Re: Steve's Sky Connect speedtest blog

I have written to sky today to end my contract. I have been on connect since April. At the start I was very impressed with the speed but in the last month it has been appalling. I tested each day last week, at various times, using the BT speed test and found an average peak time speed of 661kbs. My line is configured at 8128 downstream and 448 upstream. At the moment I am downloading Open Office at 19.7 kbs. What are O2, Newnet, or Aquiss like?

Re: Steve's Sky Connect speedtest blog

Just some more slow speeds I think the connect Customer understands now especially after last night no connection. I wonder when it will happen again because to me it looks a certain fact that it will after reading the articles UKOnline - No capacity for IPStreamers to connect :: UK Online :: think broadband

Re: Steve's Sky Connect speedtest blog

It give me something to do. I don`t feel humiliated or mistreated by Sky I feel Embarrassed that a national company can let their Customers down and not think anything about it. I was taught the next Customer you meet might turn out to be a very good friend in the future. So treat them like one now. Also I look at it like this if I can help one person and that person help one person and so on

Anyway Congratulations Well deserved Talking about me being a Masochist
