It could be all those PSN connections using P2P being barred caused the increase in speed. Now they are back on line, you are suffering.

Re: Steve's Sky Connect speedtest blog

I wonder if the PSN business was a coincidence, it seems strange that when they were off-line you were fine. Maybe they have opened up the network to P2P and it is now being swamped.

Hi Tom yes speeds are bad day and night about 1am normal speeds it looks like they have really made a mess of things just noticed connect users who are asking for mac codes and being told they will be disconnected and being told came from their manager plus read somewhere about mid users having problems asking for mac codes.

I don't think Mid users are having problems, apart from being starved of download allowance under the new regulations.

Re: Steve's Sky Connect speedtest blog

Sorry Tom what I meant was having problems asking for mac codes as coreservers is having in his thread A world wide company
coreservers Phoned up tonight to ask for my mac codes to be sent. "if you want mac codes we'll need to disconnect you immediately" I'm told. I state ofcom regulations in that I am entitled to mac codes within 48 hours AND without penalty on my account. " well my managers have told me that we have to cut off anyone asking for mac codes". I'm stunned. sky technical services managers telling staff to lie to customers. is there no depth this company will not stoop to. I thought BT were bad, but I'm afraid sky get the award this year
