How do I tell I'm on LLU or Max?

This is a discussion on How do I tell I'm on LLU or Max? within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; have some LLU connections set to 448kbps after an auto regrade - so don't always be so sure......

Well the connection speed has shot up according to the stats, but not the upstream. And the noise margin has jumped significantly, too.

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 8189 kbps 414 kbps
Line Attenuation 33 db 16 db
Noise Margin 13 db 15 db

I guess I'll just leave it connected and see what happens. Will there be a similar training period over the first 10 days, as there was on Connect?

Yes, I think the DLM process starts for upgrades as well as new customers.

looks strangely like you're on Mid...if you've migrated from Connect it'll move to Mid first, you might have to upgrade...

      from the T&C's...

      1. (f) The Connect Product will only be offered to you if your Line cannot be connected to either our existing Sky Broadband network or our new Sky Voice and Broadband network. If you have the Connect Product and it becomes possible to connect your Line to either network, we may do this automatically and you will be placed on the Mid Product and charged at its standard rate (which will not exceed the rate for Connect and will provide at least the equivalent service). We will notify you of this change. If you wish to choose another Product, you can do so by calling us within one calendar month of notice from us of the change.

Mid is 10, 5 with SkyTalk LR, Max is 15, 10 with SkyTalk LR (or is just with the SkyTalk call package?)...

Thanks. Will look into it. Don't know what the differences are between Mid and Max yet.

(but, suffice to say, this is a great connection. 790kbps just now, which should help iPlayer!)
