      which usb wireless adapter?

hi - i'm new here! found you guys whilst searching and getting no where so hoped that you might be able to help!

our usb wireless adapter has broken (it was an us robotics one) and we're not sure which new one to buy to go with our netgear router. (are all brands compatible?)

we thought that a netgear one would probably be best but the reviews are pretty awful for it!!

      any advice much appreciated.
      thanks in advance

      Re: which usb wireless adapter?

Not being to biased, I am not a lover of wireless, so homeplugs or ethernet is best.

However...... I have a Sagem, also Netgear router and my son has a PC upstairs (Due to the age of the house I would like the walls nice (An old cottage), so I have a wireless dongle.

A belkin G+ USB, cost me around 25 a year ago. Works well, my son does not complain anyway.

      Connects easily to both routers.

This is in a old house also so the floors are thick floorboards etc but the room is directly above.

      Hope this helps
