    Noisey line when on phone could it be a problem with broadband?

      Noisey line when on phone could it be a problem with broadband?

      Over the last week when im on the phone and my broadband is on i am getting a noisey line like there is another phone in the house and someone has picked it up but we dont have another phone.

      I am thinking could there be a problem with my broadband line?

      My router stats are

      Is it only when the router is powered up? Have you checked / changed the filter in use? Does it happen if the phone is the only thing on the line and plugged directly onto the telephone socket?

      First thing I thought is faulty DSL filter or no filter at all. I'd try changing the filter as Paul suggests.

      It seems to be ok when plugged into the telephone socket.

      Are my router stats ok? as i dont understand them so was thinking could they be the problem?

      There is nothing wrong with those stats, they seem fine to me.
