We need your SNR too. With that attenuation you should get a lot more speed once the stabilisation process is finished.

Re: im on max broadband.. or am i?

Go into the router settings, click the Show Statistics button and copy and paste the results here.

You are very unlikely to get 18 Mb with your attenuation, more like 14-15Mb. Your line trains for the first 10 days as you are advised in your letter. Don't switch off the router during this period or you will mess up the training. Your speed should gradually increase to its maximum.

How can it be free if you are paying for Max?

      EDIT
      - I have just read your other post and see you have been connected for several weeks. DLM will have finished on your line. You will have to phone Sky support and get them to trouble-shoot your connection. Post your stats, from your normal position and from the TEST socket.

Re: im on max broadband.. or am i?

If you have an NTE5a linebox with a Test socket(link below) please try it from there. A clean bill of health from BT means nothing as far as broadband is concerned.

Re: im on max broadband.. or am i?

Yea you appear to be heavily capped You should be getting over 10mb with your attenuation.
Only way to get the speed increased is by calling sky and getting through to CST to lift the cap.
