      these stats are from the TEST SOCKET. My stats were pretty much the same, if not slightly better before i used the test socket. any ideas?

      How long have you been connected? It looks like DLM may be running and put you on ADSL2+, which is not suiting your line. You will have to phone Sky and ask them to trouble-shoot you for speed. Keep it plugged into the Test socket, work the plug in and out a few times to make sure it is making a good connection. It is impossible to get a better result from anywhere other than the test socket, unless there is a poor connection somewhere.

      thanks for the reply. I have been with sky for almost a year and the speed has always been around 35-50kb. i will give them a call sometime this week.

      If that is the case you have a lot more patience than most.
      When you are on to Sky mention you have had this terrible service for a year and would like to be compensated. You might get a few months free out of it.
