      I am surprised you are getting broadband working at all through 2 filters. Theoretically it is impossible. The first filter, filters out the frequencies used by voice. If you plug another filter into it then there should be no ADSL signal to filter. If you are getting an ADSL signal through 2 filters then one or both the filters are faulty. Calling Sky will get the same reply as you are getting here. Plug 1 filter into the TEST socket and plug the router into it. If it does not work, change the filter.

      Nothing to do with the wiring, Sky have put my line into testing mode without notifying me or putting it on Mysky, Will be done by friday and should have better results by then.

      Have it that way if you want, if your wiring was not in such a bad state the 'testing mode' would have had little or no effect. Your line has been put on ADSL2+ and it is finding too many problems to run properly.
