      You need to post your router stats for anyone to know whats happening.

      Can you get stats from your test socket? Looks like you have internal wiring issues such as extensions or a microfilter not connected.

      Using your Attenuation figure from the last post.

      ADSL2+ Speed Test
      We estimate your line is capable of between 9mb to 10mb broadband on an ADSL2+ service

      this is my stats from my test socket ive been phoneing sky but nobody seems to know whats going on..i live less than 300 metres from the exchange it should be much much faster than this

      Do a 'quiet line test', plug a corded phone into you Test socket and dial 17070 option 2 and listen. It should be quiet with no snaps crackles or pops. If there is any, phone your phone rental provider and report a noisy line. Do not mention that it has anything to do with broadband or your complaint may be ignored.

      If there is no noise on your line you may have a faulty router or RJ11 cable. Try another router and cable if you have them.
